An interview with Moulay-Ahmed HARROUNI
AMOA Manager and IT Studies at LISI AEROSPACE
In what context do the training actions you are going to talk about fit?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni: Our training needs are directly related to the harmonization of the ERP system within our group and the deployment of Infor M3 in the different entities. The deployment I am responsible for involves two factories using an obsolete ERP as well as three other factories working on M3 V13.2. The project's goal is to transition these five entities to version 13.4.
Why did you turn to Authentic for training?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni: I searched online and through my network for companies that could assist us with Infor M3 V13.4 training focused on the ERP standard. We indeed wanted a 100% objective and external perspective on our use of M3. I came across your training program available on your website. It is one of the most comprehensive I found, covering both functional training oriented towards business and technical training. We chose Authentic to support us in our project.
What type of training service did Authentic provide you?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni: Authentic supported us in all aspects of the project.
First of all, we worked with your educational manager on creating training tailored to our needs and on building the training plan. The uniqueness of our setup is that the profiles of the people to be trained were very varied: users already familiar with version 13.2 versus others who had no knowledge of M3 at all, business profiles versus technical profiles. Authentic's support in defining the training plan was crucial.
The technical teams from Lisi Aerospace and Authentic also collaborated strongly to set up the environments, create profiles, and datasets in M3. It is thanks to the quality of this preparation in advance that we were able to implement the training plan effectively.
Were the training sessions conducted remotely or in person?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni: Everything was done in person. I would like to thank Authentic for their flexibility on this point. Some training sessions took place at Authentic's premises in Nantes. Others were held in our offices in Paris. The next sessions are scheduled directly at the production sites, close to the business areas.
What did you think of these training sessions?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni: We were very satisfied with the Authentic trainers we worked with. They are consultants with very specialized knowledge and were able to answer our questions and scenarios with precision. These individuals undoubtedly had experience and mastered the tool. They were able to explain the differences between 13.2 and 13.4, for example, and guide us in our approach.
The major strength is that we managed to contextualize the training to our company. The exchanges during the training went much further than just a transfer of skills on the M3 tool. One of the strengths of your senior trainers is that they enriched the discussions with their experiences from other clients. This led to really relevant and constructive exchanges.
We also really appreciated the flow of the training sessions, enhanced by concrete cases and exercises that allowed users to interact with the system during the session, with the trainer always available to answer questions live.
In summary, can we say that you are fully satisfied?
Moulay-Ahmed Harrouni: Absolutely. The support from Authentic on all aspects of the project as well as the quality of the training provided were greatly appreciated.
