Founded in 1985, IMS (Ille-et-Vilaine Mayenne Sanitherm) is a Craft Cooperative owned by its membersPlumbers, Heating Engineers, Electricians, and Tilers. Its purpose is to group companies to facilitate their purchases and provide them with shared services.
With its headquarters based in St Didier, near Rennes in Ille-et-Vilaine, IMS brings together cooperative artisans spread across three departments (Ille-et-Vilaine, Mayenne, and Côtes d’Armor). The cooperative supports its members in developing their business by centralizing their purchases and providing them with numerous services, such as:
- A team of over 100 men and women, all focused on a single goal: service to the members,
- 4 local agenciesequipped with an ARTIPÔLE Artisans showroom in Saint-Didier (35), Saint-Malo (35), Plérin (22), and Martigné-sur-Mayenne (53).
Following the discontinuation of their ERP by their publisher, IMS is launching its project to revamp its enterprise management system.. The company initially decided to consult two providers: their current provider and another solution. The two offers had been submitted and the choice was almost made when IMS learned that the company COVAP, cooperatives belonging to the same group, had chosen the Infor® CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise offered by Authentic. IMS then decided to include this solution in the list of possible solutions.

The Infor solution will replace the end-of-life Rubis ERP at IMS.The objectives of this implementation are to harmonize IMS's internal processesand to minimize the need for peripheral tools (notably in-house developments).It will cover almost all operations, including Purchasing/Supply, logistics, Sales, and Finance across thefour sites of the companyand will beintegrated with other third-party solutions such as the dedicated client internet portal for members or the WMS that manages warehouse activities.
